Time Change Instructions

  • ESI IVX 20, 20 Plus, Voice Mail System »

    The following procedure can be done at any system phone:
    While on hook, press PROGRAM/HELP key
    Press PARK key
    Enter system PASSWORD 4 5 6 and press # (pound)
    Press 1 4 1
    Enter time using 12-hour format and press # (pound)
    Select AM or PM by scrolling and press # (pound) to confirm
    Enter date in an eight-digit format (include leading zeros if necessary)
    Press # (pound to confirm) and hang up to end programming

    The following procedure can be done at any system phone:
    While on hook, press PROGRAM/HELP key
    Press HOLD key
    Enter system PASSWORD 4 5 6 and press # (pound)
    Press 1 4 1
    Enter time using 12-hour format
    Select AM or PM by scrolling and press # (pound) to confirm
    Enter date in an eight-digit format (include leading zeros if necessary)
    Press # (pound to confirm) and hang up to end programming

    The following procedure must be performed at the main attendant phone (usually extension 100):
    While on hook, press SPCL and dial 0 2 1 (Set Time of Day). [Displays SET TIME OF DAY]
    Using the keypad, enter the time in hours and minutes. Then press * (STAR) for AM or # (POUND) for PM. For example 900* = 900 AM
    Using the keypad, enter the month, day, and year. (For example, 01012004=01/01/2004.) If you make a mistake, backspace by pressing MUTE. [Displays SET DAY OF WEEK SUN.]
    Scroll through the day-of-week selection by pressing # (POUND) to go forward or * (STAR) to go backward.
    When desired day is displayed, press SPKR to terminate programming. You hear a confirmation tone.

    From the programming extension (ext 20), press the PROGRAM key
    Press the scroll down key ( ) until “System Programming” is displayed.
    Select “System Programming” and enter the Programming password (default 1111)
    Select “System” the “Time & Date”
    Enter the correct time in 24 hour format (e.g. 2pm is entered as 1400). The display will them prompt for a date.
    If you only want to set the time, select “Confirm” and the display will revert to the idle menu.
    To enter the date, the format is MM/DD/YY format. When the date has been entered the display will revert to the idle menu.
    Press the SPEAKERPHONE button to finish programming.

    The following procedure must be performed at the main attendant executive model display phone (usually extension 100):
    While on hook, press “ADMIN FEATURES” menu key
    Press “<<” menu key until “SET DATE & TIME” menu key is displayed. Press key.
    Using the keypad, enter date and press “ACCEPT” menu key
    Using the keypad, enter time and press “ACCEPT” menu key
    Press “AM” or “PM” menu key
    Press “ACCEPT” menu key

    Press FUNCTION
    Press [ATT FUNCTION]
    Press [SET TIME]
    The time (which can be either 12 or 24 hour format, depending on system programming), is entered as HH:MM, where HH is hours and MM is minutes.
    When two digits have been entered for the hours, the “ : “ will automatically be displayed.
    Options:
    Press [PM] to register time as after 12:00, in 12 hour format
    Press [SET] to enter the time as shown
    Press [EXIT]

    The following procedure must be done at the main phone, (usually extension 1 (21). First, user programming must be enabled.

    ENABLING USER PROGRAMMING:
    While on hook press the # (pound) key
    Dial 0 4
    Dial 4 3 2 1
    Dial 1 and # (pound)

    SET TIME AND DATE:
    While on hook, press the # (pound) key
    Dial 5 5
    Input the new data:
    YY=Last 2 digits of year
    MM=Month (01-12)
    Day=1-Monday, 2-Tuesday, 3-Wednesday, etc

    Call the voice mail system
    When the voice mail answers press * (STAR) 999 # (POUND) this is system administrator mailbox
    Enter 9 9 9 # (POUND) this is the default PASSWORD
    Press 8 for system administration
    Press 7 to set time, 8 to set date
    For time use military format (For example, 1:30 p.m. would be 1330),
    For date use six digit format inserting leading zeros if necessary

    Press # (POUND) to confirm

    The following procedure must be done at the main attendant phone. This is usually extension 1 (21). Enable customer programming must be done first.

    ENABLE CUSTOMER PROGRAMMING:
    While on hook, dial # 0 6. the display shows [MMC DISABLED]
    Dial the passcode 4 3 2 1 and 1 and then press # (pound)

    SETTING THE DATE AND TIME:
    Dial # (POUND) 5 5. Display shows [YY MM DD W HH MM]
    Dial the new information as follows:
    YY = Last two digits of the year
    MM = Month (01-12)
    DD = Day of the month (01-31)
    W = Day of the week (1-7;week begins on Monday and ends on Sunday)
    HH = Hour (use 24 hour clock)
    MM = Minutes (00-59)
    Dial # (POUND) to set current time and date. The phone returns to normal use.

    The following procedure must be done at the main attendant phone. (Usually extension 201):

    While on hook, press FUNCTION key and then dial # (pound) and 0
    Enter the appropriate tenant group number (Enter 1)
    Press soft key F2 below the word “SAVE”
    Enter attendant’s user password (0000)
    Press soft key F2 below the word “SHOW”
    Press soft key F2 below the word “NEXT” repeatedly until “SYSTEM TIME” is displayed.
    Press soft key F3 below the word “SHOW”
    Year, month, day, weekday, hour, minute settings are presented in turn. Press soft key F2 below the word “NEXT” to proceed to the next category.

    Press soft key F3 below the word “CHG” if you wish to change a particular setting. Use the dial pad to enter the appropriate two-digit numbers for the year, day, hour and minute settings. Months and weekdays can be scrolled by pressing soft key F3 repeatedly until the desired setting is displayed.
    Press soft key F2 when you have made your selection to advance to the next category
    Press the HOLD key to exit at any point

  • Vodavi Telephone System »

    The following procedure must be done from the main attendant phone. (Usually extension 100):

    While on hook, dial 6 9 2
    Enter time and date in the following format:
    YY=year(00-99)
    MM=Month (01-12)
    DD=Day (01-31)
    HH=Hour (00-23)
    MM=Minute (00-59)
    You will hear confirmation tone if done correctly
